Terms of service
The agreement between you and whoever provides Mytemized, covering what it does, what it costs, and what happens when something goes wrong.
In force since 1 October 2026.
Who you are agreeing with
Mytemized is provided by Richard Pinsenschaum, a sole trader in Ireland, at Feakle, Co Clare, Ireland, on 00353 85 742 8624. Using Mytemized means agreeing to what is on this page.
Mytemized is the name of the service, not of a company. Your agreement is with the person named above, who runs it as a sole trader. There is no limited company behind it, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise.
What Mytemized does
You send in travel confirmations — flights, accommodation, transport, tickets — by uploading them, pasting them, sharing them from another app, or forwarding them to a private email address Mytemized gives you. Mytemized reads them and arranges what it finds into one timeline for the trip.
Your original documents are kept exactly as they arrived and are never altered. They remain available to open for as long as you keep them.
Mytemized is a service for organising documents, and nothing more than that. It is not a travel agent, a booking agent, a travel provider or a travel adviser, and it does not check anybody’s booking on your behalf. Everything it shows you came out of a document you sent it.
You can use Mytemized before paying anything: every account gets a free preview, which builds the first part of a trip so you can see what it does with your own confirmations. These terms and the privacy policy apply from the moment you start using it, not from the moment you pay.
Your account
You need an account, and one email address can hold one. Passwords must be at least twelve characters. Keeping your password and your private forwarding address to yourself is your responsibility — anything sent to that address reaches your account, so treat it as a password rather than as an email address.
Mytemized is for your own travel documents. Do not send in documents you have no right to send.
What you pay, and what for
€5.99 unlocks a trip. It is a single payment for that one trip, and it keeps that trip open. There is no subscription, no monthly plan, no renewal and no other tier. Nothing recurs, and nothing is charged again for a trip you have already unlocked.
- Your first trip starts with a preview, so you can watch Mytemized work on your own confirmations before deciding anything. The preview is free and is not a purchase. It commits you to nothing, it is not an agreement to buy anything later, and it does not start the fourteen days described below.
- Once you have paid for a trip, a further trip is paid for when you start it, without another free preview.
- Anything you send to a trip that is not yet unlocked is kept, not discarded, and appears on the timeline when the trip opens.
- The paid agreement for a trip is made when you pay for that trip and it unlocks. That is the moment everything below about cancelling runs from — not when you opened an account, and not when you used the free preview.
€5.99 is the whole price today. Mytemized is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added and nothing is charged on top of it. If that changes — if Mytemized has to register for VAT — the checkout will say what the price includes before you pay. You are only ever charged the price you are shown at the moment you pay it.
Cancelling, and what you agreed at the checkout
Buying online gives you a statutory right to cancel within 14 days, separately from anything Mytemized offers. It is a right in law, not something this page grants you, and nothing here reduces it. The fourteen days run from the moment the paid agreement is made — when you pay for a trip and it unlocks — and not from anything you did before that.
Because a trip opens the moment you pay rather than after a wait, Mytemized asks you two things at the checkout, as two separate boxes rather than one:
- “I ask Mytemized to open this trip straight away, rather than waiting.” — an express request, because otherwise nothing would begin until the fourteen days were up.
- “I understand that I have a statutory 14-day cancellation right, and that I will lose that right once Mytemized has fully performed this service.” — the acknowledgement the law requires before a service starts inside the cancellation period.
Both are recorded, and so is the exact wording you were shown. Mytemized keeps the two confirmations, the time you gave each of them and the version of these terms in force at that moment, so that what you agreed to can be produced later rather than remembered. Your confirmation email repeats it.
Mytemized treats that right as running for the whole fourteen days. Opening a trip does not end it. Neither does the first document being read. The right ends when the service has been fully performed, and Mytemized is not finished with a trip at the moment it opens — it goes on reading whatever you send to that trip afterwards, for as long as you keep it. That is what the second box above is about.
So if you want to cancel within those fourteen days, write to the address at the end of this page and say so. You do not have to give a reason, and the refund below is more generous still.
None of that changes the refund policy below, which is Mytemized’s own promise and is more generous than it has to be.
Refunds
This is Mytemized’s own promise, and it sits on top of the statutory right above rather than replacing it. The right to cancel is given to you by law and cannot be signed away. What follows is offered voluntarily, goes further than the law requires, and you can rely on either.
Ask within 14 days of paying and you get your €5.99 back, for any reason at all. You do not have to explain yourself, and you will not be asked to.
After those 14 days, two things are always refunded however long it has been:
- You were charged twice for the same trip.
- The payment went through and the trip never opened.
A refund is always the whole €5.99. Mytemized does not refund part of a payment.
A refund does not close a trip you have already unlocked. Your itinerary stays open and stays yours, including if you ask for your money back. This is deliberate — taking an itinerary back from somebody who may be standing in an airport with it is not a thing Mytemized will do.
To ask, write to the address at the end of this page and say which trip. Refunds are issued by hand, by the person named at the top, so it is somebody reading it rather than a form.
None of this replaces your rights under consumer law. If something is wrong with what you bought, the law gives you remedies that no refund policy can sign away. What is written here sits alongside those rights and does not narrow them.
What Mytemized reads can be wrong
Mytemized reads your documents and reports what it finds. It is software reading a document, and it can misread one — a time, a date, a terminal, a booking reference. It flags the bookings that look uncertain or incomplete, and it keeps every original so you can check. A misreading it is confident about will not be flagged — which is why the original stays with every booking.
Your booking confirmations remain the authority, not the timeline built from them. Check anything that matters — particularly departure times — against the original before you rely on it.
Mytemized organises your travel documents, and that is the whole of what it does. It does not:
- book, change, cancel or confirm anything with an airline, a hotel or anybody else;
- issue tickets or booking references of its own;
- check what a confirmation says against the airline, hotel or operator that issued it — Mytemized reads the document you sent and has no other source;
- promise that a flight, room or booking will go ahead. Whether your travel happens, and on time, is between you and the provider you booked with.
Availability, and what happens if something goes wrong
Mytemized is intended to be available on an ongoing basis. It runs on one server, and uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. If it is unavailable when you need it, your original confirmations are still yours and still wherever they came from.
Your rights under consumer law are not affected by anything on this page. Irish law gives you rights about digital services that a trader cannot sign away, and nothing here tries to. Where something written here would conflict with those rights, those rights apply.
What Mytemized is responsible for is Mytemized: reading the documents you send, building the timeline, keeping your originals available, and taking the payment properly.
What it is not responsible for is your travel. Airlines, hotels, rail and ferry operators, car hire firms and anybody else you booked with remain responsible for their own services — whether they run, whether they are cancelled or delayed, and whether a booking is honoured. Mytemized has no part in those arrangements and no way to affect them.
Mytemized is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, to the extent the law allows that to be said. It does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its own acts or omissions, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit to be excluded.
Ending it
You can stop using Mytemized whenever you like. You can delete individual documents and bookings at any time, and deleting a document removes the stored original as well.
You can ask for your whole account to be deleted by writing to the support address below, and it will be. The record that a payment was made is kept, with the link to you removed — the privacy policy explains what that means and why.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date they took effect changes with them. A change does not alter what you have already paid for: a trip you have unlocked stays unlocked.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
If you live somewhere else in the EU, that does not take anything away from you: you keep the protections of your own country’s consumer law that cannot be signed away by agreement, and you can bring a claim where you live.
